According the tradition Dim Sum is served the fragrant tea. This is called Yam Cha and was originated in the Canton province. Travelers who traveled the silk road visited small tea houses to rest, eat and drink here. Here we can find back the roots of Dim Sum because at these tea houses they started to serve small dishes to share. This is what we call shared dining nowadays.
